MSSC President
Patricia Wyatt-Harris, MD is a board-certified obstetrics & gynecologist, practicing in Wichita since 1985. Dr. Wyatt-Harris completed her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine- Wichita in 1981. She completed her residency at the Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Wyatt-Harris was the first female OB/GYN in Wichita in 1985. She has lived in Wichita her entire life and co-founded College Hill OB/GYN upon completion of her residency. In recent years, Dr. Wyatt-Harris decided to shift her practice focus to gynecological services only. This transition has allowed Dr. Wyatt-Harris to specialize in the North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner Program.
Outside the Office: When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Wyatt-Harris spends time teaching medical students at the local residency programs affiliated with Via Christi and Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Wyatt-Harris and her husband attend Grace Presbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and being a grandma and is an avid WSU fan. Go Shocks!
MSSC Executive Director
Phillip Brownlee became the MSSC executive director in May 2017. He worked for 21 years at The Wichita Eagle, including 16 years as editorial page editor. During his tenure at The Eagle, Phillip and the editorial board won numerous journalism awards, including the Kansas Public Health Association service award. Phillip also worked previously as a certified public accountant in Dallas and as public information director. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Sterling College and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
